Car and 4WD tyres
Supplied, fitted, balanced and repaired. Everything from a family hatch to a set of all terrains for the Eyre Peninsula tracks, off a wall of stock that is already in the shop.
McBryde Terrace, Whyalla
Car, 4WD, light truck and motorbike rubber, fitted and balanced in Whyalla. Batteries, exhausts, alloy wheels and trailers out the back. If you have turned up unannounced with a nail in it, say so at the counter and we will tell you straight whether we can do it while you wait.

What we do
Supply, fit, balance and repair, on car, bike and light industrial tyres. That is how the business describes itself, and the wall of racked rubber behind the counter is the reason it can.
Not sure what you need?
Read the size off the sidewall, give us a ring, and we will tell you what is on the shelf and what it will cost before you come in.

Supplied, fitted, balanced and repaired. Everything from a family hatch to a set of all terrains for the Eyre Peninsula tracks, off a wall of stock that is already in the shop.
A proper bike range, road and knobbly, with tubes to match. Racks of it, sitting in the shop, not a special order.
Work vehicles, trailers and light truck rubber, fitted the same way as everything else. Whyalla is a working town and the shop is set up for it.
Exhaust systems supplied and fitted. We took them on to fill a hole in the market and they are part of the shop now.
SuperCharge batteries on the shelf rather than on order, which in a Whyalla summer is not a small thing.
CSA Alloy Wheels on the wall and a listed Dirty Life Race Wheels dealership. Wheels and rubber sorted in one stop.
Repairs and rotations, and if you turn up unannounced we will tell you straight whether we can do it while you wait.
Rock Oil, Ipone, K&N and Lucas on the rack, so the bike leaves with the right oil in it as well as the right tyres.

Bikes
Bike tyres are in the description of the business for a reason. There are racks of them here: road rubber, knobblies for the dirt, and the tubes to go with them, alongside Rock Oil and Ipone on the shelf.
It is not a special order and it is not a fortnight's wait. For a town this size, being able to walk in and get a bike sorted the same way a car gets sorted is the difference between riding on the weekend and not.

“Public holiday our guest had a nail in their tyre and could not depart as needed to be repaired. They had no luck finding anyone. A quick call to Worthy and he was more than happy to help.”
Trailer hire
The shop trades as Steel City Tyres and Trailer Hire, and as we have put it ourselves, they are rarely all in the yard at once. Ring the shop and ask what is free.
“Hired a trailer from here, great prices and friendly service”

The shop ute on McBryde Terrace.
Inside
Orange and charcoal, wall to wall, and a lot of stock for a shop this size.

Reviews
“I randomly just visited this tyre shop for a tyre replacement, and I couldn't be more impressed with the service. From the moment I walked in, the staff were friendly, welcoming, and extremely professional. They took the time to explain my options clearly, provided honest advice, and ensured I understood the pricing upfront with no hidden costs. The service was fast, affordable, and done to a very high standard and made the whole process stress-free.”
